Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by washing, patching, sanding, caulking, and priming

• Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes to walls, ceilings, trim, cabinets, and exterior surfaces

• Mix and match paints and stains to achieve desired color and finish

• Operate and maintain painting tools, equipment, and sprayers

• Protect adjacent surfaces with drop cloths and masking

• Follow safety procedures and OSHA regulations

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely project completion

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of professional painting experience (residential or commercial)

• Strong knowledge of painting techniques, surface prep, and finish applications

• Ability to identify and correct surface defects
